Originally from Michigan, Max draws inspiration from artists like Ralph Stanley and Doc Watson. He plays guitar, fiddle, and banjo, and handles most of the vocals and songwriting. Ann, originally from Brown County, Indiana, is a classically trained violinist with deep experience in traditional fiddle styles, bringing a dynamic and expressive approach to the duo’s sound.
